Frequently Asked QuestionsAbout Our Photo Booths
Get answers to the most common questions about our trade show photo booth rentals, setup requirements, and service details.
QWhat are the dimensions of the selfie stand?
The Selfie Booth measures 20" at base plate and 60" tall. It weighs 40lbs when assembled. Using the portrait orientation, it captures more of the guest and background, head to toe. At about 7 feet from the subject, it captures up to 95 inches vertically and 76 inches horizontally. When shipped, the total weight is 65lbs including the two-wheeled rolling transport case.
QDoes the selfie station qualify as hand carry for trade show floors?
This depends on the convention center itself, but generally, due to the compact case and two-wheeled design, it qualifies as hand-carry and does not require a loading dock or designated show labor staff to install/remove.
QIs the tradeshow photo booth capable of prints?
No, the tradeshow photo booth is only capable of digital capture and sharing, as a standalone offering. Prints are not possible.
QWhat kind of data can we capture?
The tradeshow photo booth is capable of custom data capture via user-surveys, that are created for your unique event. Standard data capture includes phone number or email (based on sharing method), and general stats regarding sharing methods used.
QWill I get a copy of all the photos?
Yes! You will get a private dashboard where you can view all the photos and any data captured. This dashboard remains live for up to 3 months, and can be deleted immediately upon request when required.
QIs the tradeshow photo booth GDPR compliant?
Yes, our data capture can be fully tailored for your particular event needs, including full GDPR compliance.
QWill the selfie stand be stable on carpet?
Yes. It includes a steel baseplate that provides excellent stability on various surfaces, including tradeshow carpet. Thick-piled carpet is the only exception, and may cause some wobbling.
QCan the camera lens tilt to adjust framing?
Yes. Either the camera itself will tilt, or the entire head of the booth, allowing flexible angle adjustments to best frame your shot. Once adjusted, it's recommended to leave the tilt in place the duration of your event to accommodate the average expected guest.
QIs selfie station allowed on trade show floor?
Our selfie station in a two-wheel rolling case qualifies as 'hand carry' and should be allowed through front door. You may still need to add us as an exhibitor appointed contractor to allow us access to the show and to your booth or we may not be allowed to setup.
QWhat do I need for the selfie station?
Standard power 110/115V 10A dedicated outlet. And internet. We equip Cellular or a hotspot but we rely on WiFi for the strongest and fastest signal, especially indoors or in a convention center. That is client responsibility to ensure WiFi is in place or purchased.
QDo I need to add an EAC (Exhibitor Appointed Contractor) to my booth?
If you are wanting to use a local setup option, rather than having the booth shipped. You'll need to register us as an EAC within the deadlines of your show. For information seek your exhibitor guide for your particular show, or reach out to your convention center point of contact.
QDo you carry GL insurance?
Yes we maintain a $2 Million liability policy, including workers compensation in states required. Some venues have stricter insurance requirements for contractors working onsite, which are waived due to the limited scope of our work and equipment. Again, for information seek your exhibitor guide for your particular show, or reach out to your convention center point of contact.
QHow would I arrange shipping for my trade show?
After booking with us, shipping can be arranged in one of three ways:
1) We can ship everything to your warehouse prior to the show. This method is great if you want to have your selfie photo booth included with the rest of your show items all at once. You would ship as normal to the tradeshow warehouse, and include the photo booth each way. After the show, you can choose to drop-off at the tradeshow directly via UPS/FedEx. Or you can send it back with your booth equipment to your warehouse, and return upon receiving your items back.
2) We can ship the photo booth directly to the show warehouse, using their standard warehouse receiving timeline. This timeline will be posted before the show, and generally requires receiving all items up to 2-4 weeks before the show begins. The show will have their own fees for storage/booth install/removal, which generally does not include setting up the physical photo booth. Then once the show is over, you'll drop the photo booth back at UPS/FedEx onsite before leaving the show.
3) We can ship the photo booth directly to the show floor addresses, which allows for last-minute guaranteed deliveries. Typically this method has a smaller receiving window between 1-4 days prior to the show start. You can check with your show contact on the specific timelines and options for your show. The show will have their own fees for storage/booth install/removal, which generally does not include setting up the physical photo booth. Then once the show is over, you'll drop the photo booth back at UPS/FedEx onsite before leaving the show.
